A practical guide to controlling your business finances and keeping the tax-man happy!

The day will provide participants with opportunities to gain confidence and know-how in managing their business finances, dealing with Tax issues and ensuring their business is built on a sound financial basis.  Trainer, Michele Marsland, is a qualified Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, running her own practice just outside Ivybridge. Intended Programme Outcomes

1.   gained an understanding of basic business structures and the affect this has on the tax and national insurance due.

2.   recieve a brief outline of the options for keeping records the tax man requires

3.   explore some of the questions commonly asked on start up costs, using your home, Tax etc

4.   taken a detailed look at an example business and how this can help you in your business

5.   learned how to make setting up your own business plan and budget easy!
