Jane is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has over 20 years experience of assisting start ups, growing and established businesses of all descriptions.  She established her own practice in 2003 which has grown rapidly now employing 14 staff and looking after approximately 500 businesses across the South West.  Jane has held workshops across Devon, helping business owners make the right decisions when starting out and also equipping them with the tools to maintain and understand their financial records and be able to interpret their figures and accounts to assist their growth and to reach their full potential.  She is now the managing director of Maynard Johns Chartered Accountants who are based in Bideford, North Devon.  The firm is based on family values and not your run of the mill accountants.  Their approach is an open honest method of explaining accounts and business issues face to face in a jargon free style - they are the straight talking accountants with the personal touch.

Jane is also actively involved in the local business community having been Chairman of the local Federation of Small Businesses branch for three years and is currently President of Bideford Chamber of Commerce.

She has many years experience in public speaking and holding workshops and in the words of one of her workshop attendees "has a great gift of being able to relay potentially complicated information to small businesses and make it interesting and absorbing".
